We’ve been going back and forth on whether or not to keep Deffo online, and we’ve landed on “nah”.
Mobilizon was something we were really keen on the idea of when it was first announced, but it’s just not working out like we hoped, and now we have some odd technical issues with it that we don’t feel are worth spending time on, given the lack of interest in it from users.
So, in the next few days, we’ll shut down the site and likely redirect the domain to this page. This is a very short notice period, and not typical of how we’d usually do something like this, but it’s really not seeing any use so we don’t feel anyone will be affected adversely.
We’ll retain the domain name, and if a future project comes along that looks like it’d provide a good option for organising group meetups and events, we’re still keen to host something. We’ll let things rest for a while though, and see how it goes.
